Sail Yacht Maltese Falcon

Maltese Falcon is a full rigged ship, built by Perini Navi in Tuzla, Istanbul, commissioned by her first owner Tom Perkins. She is one of the world’s most complex and largest sailing yachts at 88 m (289 ft). The vessel was purchased in 2008 by Pleon Ltd, which put her to charter use, among the famous charterers Tom Hanks, Hugh Jackman, and Larry Page can be named. Tom Perkins hired in 2001 Dutch yacht designers at Dykstra & Partners to investigate 19th century clippers and propose a three-mast square rig for the project. On 4 November 2007, in a 60 Minutes profile, Perkins admitted that the yacht costs more than $150 million, but less than $300 million, refusing to be more specific.

Motor Yacht Eclipse

Eclipse is a luxury motor yacht constructed by Blohm + Voss of Hamburg, Germany. Her exterior and interior were designed by Terence Disdale Design and her naval architect was Francis Design. The yacht was delivered to Russian businessman Roman Abramovich on 9 December 2010. Almost 170 m (557 ft) long, Eclipse was launched on 12 June 2009, is the world’s second largest private yacht and her cost has been estimated at €1,17 billion ($1.84 billion) after her latest renovation in 2015. Eclipse has two helicopter pads, 30 cabins, two swimming pools, several hot tubs, a disco hall, and a missile defence system. It is also equipped with three launch boats and a mini-submarine that is capable of submerging to 50 m (160 ft). Approximately 70 crew members are needed to operate the yacht and serve the guests. Eclipse travels to St. Martin in the Caribbean each winter to pick up passengers who fly in to St. Martin’s airport, and then travels to Abramovich’s home in St Barth.

Motor Yacht Serene

Serene is one of the world’s largest private superyachts. Built by Italian shipyard Fincantieri, Serene was delivered to her owner in August 2011. By then, she was one of the 10 largest yachts in the world with an overall length of 134 m (439.3 ft) and a beam of 18 m (60.7 ft). The ship was built for Russian vodka tycoon Yuri Scheffler for $330 million. In the summer of 2014, Bill Gates leased the yacht for US$5 million per week. In 2015, while vacationing in the south of France, Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia bought the vessel for approximately 500 million €.

Motor Yacht Rising Sun

Rising Sun is a motor yacht designed by Jon Bannenberg, and built in 2004 by Germany’s Lürssen for Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle Corporation, and last refitted in 2007. Rising Sun has been owned since 2010 by David Geffen, who had bought a half share of the yacht in late 2006. The yacht is the 11th largest in the world with a length of almost 138 m (453 ft). It reportedly cost over US$200 million to build.

Motor Yacht Luna

Luna is a luxury motor yacht constructed by LloydWerft of Bremerhaven, Germany. It is the second largest expedition yacht, and has been owned by Roman Abramovich and Farkhad Akhmedov. At 115 m (377 ft) long, Luna is the world’s 23rd largest luxury yacht. The yacht’s cost has been estimated at over 400 million € ($545 million). Luna was delivered to Russian businessman Roman Abramovich on 10 April 2010. Its exterior was designed by NewCruise of Germany and its interior by Donald Starkey. Luna was sold to Roman Abramovich’s close friend, Farkhad Akhmedov, for $400 million in April 2014. Akhmedov sent the yacht to Bremerhaven, Germany in October 2014 for an extensive refit of over $50 million in December 2015. It includes 10 VIP guest cabins over 100m2 each, a 20-m outdoor swimming pool, 9 decks and a large outdoor entertaining area. Luna is also equipped with 8 tenders, 1 mini-submarine and a crew of 50 persons. Luna has the multipurpose custom-made lifeboats/limousine, $4 million, acting as much as VIP transport than lifeboat. The yacht is fitted with an anti-missile system and has 2 helipads rated over 7.5 tons capacity, hosting Akhmedov’s Eurocopter EC155 B1 and EC145 simultaneously. She is enabling a cruise of over 9.000 nm at economical speeds of 16-18 knots.

Motor Yacht Le Grand Bleu

Le Grand Bleu is one of the largest private yachts in the world with 113 m (371 ft) in length. She was built at the Bremer Vulkan yard in Bremen, Germany, and was launched in 2000. She was designed by Stefano Pastrovich and constructed by Kusch Yachts. She was previously owned by John McCaw Jr., who sold her to Russian businessman Roman Abramovich in 2002. Abramovich had her refitted to his own preferences by HDW in Kiel, Germany. This included an internal refit and the addition of a 4,9-m (16-ft) swim platform. In June 2006, Abramovich gave Le Grand Bleu to his friend and business partner Eugene Shvidler, her current owner. She had a mini refit in Port Canaveral, FL in 2008. The boat also has two additional yachts on separate cranes on the topside of the aft, one being a 22-m (73-ft) sailboat, and the other a 21-m (68-ft) powerboat. The boat completed her 10-year survey work at Peters Schiffbau, Wewelsfleth, Germany, with the addition of a new beach club on the port side.

Motor Yacht C2

C2 is a super-yacht built in 2008 at the shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen. The interior and exterior were designed by Reymond Langton Design Ltd. The length of the yacht is 78,43 m (257.3 ft) and the beam is 12,40 m (40.7 ft). The materials of the hull is steel, with the superstructure made out of aluminium. The yacht is Lloyd’s registered, issued by Cayman Islands, and her owner is Ron Perelman. The main engines have a power of 2.000 hp (1.491 kW) each. The yacht C2 can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots (30 km/h), while the cruising speed is at 14 knots (26 km/h).

Motor Yacht Limitless

Limitless is one of the world’s largest private superyachts. She was built in 1997 by German shipmaker Lürssen, with exterior design by the Jon Bannenberg and Jonathan Quinn Barnett, and interior design by François Catroux. The overall length is 96,25 m (315 ft), the width 12,50 m (41 ft). She is powered by two engines of 5420 kW each, reaching a speed of 25 knots (46 km/h; 29 mph), and was the first yacht to feature a combination of diesel and diesel-electric propulsion. Limitless is owned by Les Wexner, an American businessman who is currently chairman and CEO of the L Brands corporation (best known for its brand Victoria’s Secret).

Motor Yacht A

The A is a luxury motor yacht, designed by Philippe Stark (who also designed the Venus yacht, owned by Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple) and Martin Francis, and built by shipmaker Blohm & Voss – Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft, Kiel, Germany. The construction started in November 2004 and she was delivered in 2008, for an estimated cost of $300 million. The ship si 119-m long, one of the biggest yachts in the world. She was named after the first letter of her owner, Andreï Melnitchenko (russian billionaire business man) and her wife Aleksandra. The A’s provocative style has been subject to controversial opinions since her inception. She is the biggest yacht with a reverse stem, evoking comparisions with war submarines and stealth warships, and is listed by press as “the Most Popular and the Most Hated”. The A is powered by 2 diesel engines MAN RK280, releasing about 12 000 CV (HP), enough to allow a maximum speed of 23 kn (43 km/h, 26.7 mph). At her 19-kn cruising speed, the yacht can go as far as 6500 nautical mile (12000 km, 7.500 miles) in less than 16 days, before the 750000-liter fuel tank is empty. The indoor space is 2200 m2, including the 230 m2 master’s suite. The reflecting surfaces covering abundantly the walls are made of Baccarat crystal, as the glassware, the tableware, and some of the furnitures; the walls and ceilings’ guests suites are decorated with white shagreen (shark’s or ray’s skin) and their furnitures are covered with crocodile leather. On the front superstructure, there is a helipad and a swimming pool, and 2 other swimming pools at the rear, one of which having a glass bottom.

Motor Yacht Diamond A

Diamond A (formerly Ultima III) is a 57,30-m motor yacht, custom built in 1998 by Abeking & Rasmussen. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Kirsten Kelli and has exterior styling by Donald Starkey. She was last refitted in 2010. Diamond A yacht has a steel hull with a aluminium superstructure with a beam of 10,30 m (33’9″ft) and a 3,60 m (11’9″ft) draft and 3 decks made from Teak. Diamond A is built to comply to MCA and Lloyds standards. Performance + Capabilities Diamond A is capable of 16.00 knots flat out, with a cruising speed of 14.00 knots with range of 4000.00nm. Diamond A offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 8 suites comprising 6 double cabins, 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 15 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Motor Yacht Excellence V

Excellence V was built by Abeking & Rasmussen, Germany. The superyacht is the new beauty of the seas. Besides her elegant and contemporary design and her luxurious and minimalist interior decoration, she is also fully-equipped. With her 61-m lenght, Excellence V can host 14 guests and 15 crew members. The yacht includes 1 master suite, 3 double cabins, 1 VIP cabin, 2 twin cabins, several dinning areas and living rooms (indoors and outdoors), a bar, a fitness room, a cinema room and 2 jacuzzis.
